Mangatini Falls in Colour

Posted by
~~~Ann~~~ (Nelson, New Zealand) on 24 December 2018 in Landscape & Rural.
Reached by a one-hour walk along the Ngakawau River gorge, this is the 25 m Mangatini Waterfall after a heavy overnight rain. I posted a black and white version yesterday and would love to hear which one you prefer and why.
Normally I prefer black and white. That's given better contrasts and a classical happtic. Otherwise Images taken in colourful moments like sunsets, autum etc. lost a lot of their intensity. Same here. Your Image yesterday was really nice and well done. But I like this here today much more. I Wisch you a Merry Christmas!
